Mr. Willis 2013 (Phys Ed) Tyler Williams and Danielle Shkiler
Description:
The first meeting we had with Mr. Willis, he explained that he wanted a website, a way to incorporate technology into his lessons, a way to use SMART boards for health and a lesson on how to use technology. Though he already had a Weebly website, it wasn't finished and didn't look good. Tyler and I decided to remake a website using Google Sites. Mr. Willis explained that his main concern was making a website that would have resources for his students and a digital version of the Physical Education journals.
After researching and trying to find a variety of resources, we were unable to find useful health resources for SMART boards but were able to find everything else he asked for. The website is currently available for all his students and has a calendar, a variety of resources from Youtube and educational websites as well as a digitized version of the Physical Education journal that goes straight to Mr. Willis Google Drive. We taught Mr. Willis how to access and edit the calendar, journal and the website but as of now, we are still editors of the website in case he needs our help.
Other Applications:

Though it requires some searching, teachers can find tutorials, step by step instruction, examples and enriching videos for almost every website. Google has a variety of different applications which are all interconnected. Google Sites uses Google Calender and Google Drive which both have useful applications within them. Forms can be made and added to the site and edited by the document is shared with. For teachers who aren't very proficient with technology, Google is the perfect starting website.
