Ms. Covent 2016
Our task was to help Ms. Covent teach her students the technical aspect of creating podcasts. We were in charge of making sure that their podcasts are as clean and clear as possible so that they can create something they can be proud of, and that Ms. Covent will be able to mark easily. After our initial meeting, Xin Hao, Ms. Covent and I decided that a presentation alongside a worksheet would be the best way to convey the information to them. Through the presentation, we will go over and teach students the basics and the worksheet will make sure that they have something to reference when they actually begin making their podcasts.
In our presentation and worksheet, we go over everything that is necessary for a beginner to make podcasts, including:

Uses for other classes:
Google Forms
Forms is a great way of collecting information efficiently. The collected information is displayed in a way that is easy to read and understand. There is also an option to turn the collected information into Google sheets, so data can be analyzed easily. This can be a great way for students to do surveys for classes like math, or for teachers to get information from students in an anonymous way (perhaps to do a reflection on how they enjoy the class).
Audacity
This audio recording and editing software has a lot of potential uses beyond creating podcasts. It can also have applications in a music classroom for students to edit and record and musical pieces that they make. Also, in any classroom where students need to edit audio for videos that they are making, familiarity with Audcaity will make this easier.
