Description of Project
Ms.Soto-Gordon planned to make presentations at Family of Schools, and she needed help with presenting. Firstly, we bought and downloaded Office 2010 for her laptop. Next, I showed her the differences between Powerpoint 2003 and Powerpoint 2010. I then went over how to set up the technology for presentations (laptop, projector, internet cable, and speakers) and addressed possible troubleshooting issues. I gave her a Powerpoint resource with steps on how to use Powerpoint 2010 for future reference. Lastly, she wanted me to join her at a few of the presentations later in the semester for technical support.
This is the Powerpoint resource.

Other Applications
Powerpoint 2010 is a great tool to make professional presentations. Compared to Powerpoint 2003, it provides many more features that are more aesthetically pleasing and logically organized. For example, animations, designs, and transitions look much better and have way more selection.
Many computers at our school are only now getting Office 2010 and the Powerpoint 2010 resource can be used to teach other teachers about the new program. Also, the early business courses teach Office 2010, so this resource could also be used to teach students. The links at the end of the resource presentation can help people learn more skills in Powerpoint 2010 and make better presentations.
